Pineapple Sage Gimlet Punch

Gin. You either love it or hate it. I happen to really enjoy it. Gin and tonics were my go-to drink when I lived in L.A. I feel like the 90’s gave gin a bad rap (cue Snoop Dogg’s “Gin and Juice”). Yes, gin has a more herbacious taste than most other alcohols. However, it has really gotten better over the years. It is my belief that gin haters just haven’t had a delicious gin cocktail.

This cocktail is a play on a gimlet. Gimlets are typically made with just gin and sweetened lime juice. Simple and delicious. Pineapples are in season right now so why not take advantage of that? This is more off a punch as it adds pineapple juice and a hint of fresh sage. Fresh pineapple juice would be best but the canned or bottled stuff works just fine.
