Every party needs a good dip. Am I wrong? Having a dip as part of your party spread is a great way to feed a crowd. Whether it be 3, 5 or 7, a layered bean dip is a go to for many. I totally get why. It’s super easy to make. It requires no cooking. You simply just layer the ingredients in a dish and you’re done.
I am a fan of a 5 layer bean dip. You can easily fit 5 layers into a 9 inch pie pan so no special dish is needed. I give this classic party dip a healthy-ish twist by substituting a couple of the ingredients. Seasoned refried black beans replace the traditional style beans and plain Greek yogurt replaces the sour cream. I promise your picky eaters won’t know the difference!
The 5 layers consist of refried black beans, guacamole, plain Greek yogurt, salsa, and cheese. I like to garnish mine with black loves and cilantro. This is completely optional though. Once the dip is assembled it is ready to serve with your favorite tortilla chips. You’ll have this dip ready in just minutes, and your guests will love dipping into it.
