Phew! March was a month, wasnt it?! It felt like finally thawing out after a long winter of hibernation. It was a month of connections and experiences that warmed my soul.

Amidst the hustle, there was a sense of new beginnings, fresh energy, and a renewed gratitude for all that’s blooming around me. I feel momentum moving into the Spring season, and I can’t help but feel excited for the possibilities that lie ahead and the adventures waiting to unfold.

Here's to continued growth, protecting our peace, and creating moments of joy by living our lives to the fullest! 💖

Welcoming @cafemomentum.atl with open arms ✨️

Today is the grand opening of Cafe Momentum in downtown Atlanta, and I am so excited to have them in the city. I first visited @cafemomentum in Dallas several years ago and was immediately drawn to the work they were doing transforming the lives of justic-involved youth. Having worked with teenage girls in the juvenile detention centers for a few years, their mission was near and dear to my heart.

By visiting the restaurant, you are showing your support of the youth by demonstrating that the ATL community believes in them. All while enjoying tasty regional southern cuisine like smoked fried chicken, shrimp & grits, smoked pork belly, and brown butter poached sea bass. Donations are always welcome and help keep the program running and provide the youth with the resources, skills and education to help them on their path to a brighter future.

The restaurant is open Thursday theu Saturday and reservations are now available on @opentable

@acorkintheroad teamed up with @sixteen600 to host Tie Dye Before the High, a laidback and fun wine party to welcome the winery back to Atlanta before the annual High Museum fundraising auction.

There was no agenda other than to have a great time, and a great time was definitely had! We gathered at @thevineclubatl to drink wine from @grapeswithaview and crew, enjoy amazing food from @bovinoafterdark , vibe to ATL based music from @bird.atl , and mingle amongst great company. Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening!

Eating at the night markets is a must in Thailand 🇹🇭

I just wish I had a bigger stomach! There was so much I wanted to try, but my stomach could only hold so much. If you're with a group, I highly encourage you to get a bunch of different things and try as much as you can.

I visited a market in Bangkok and one in Krabi. The vibes were totally different, but the food at both was wonderful. Fresh seafood made to order, skewers of all kinds, crispy and juicy pork, papaya salad, mango sticky rice, soups.... there is no shortage of options. Wash it down with a cold beer (or a cocktail bucket 😅) and enjoy the live entertainment from the locals.

They have never let me down. The Salt & Pepper Shrimp is my go to dish that I always order. On my most recent visit, they had a whole fried fish, lobster roll, and duck on the menu, so I had to have it all. I'm kinda greedy like that. Lol

I found myself watching the episode and laughing out loud, "Don't go out in the streets of Thailand during Songkran if you don't want to get wet." It’s inevitable. You will be soaked. But for me, that was part of the fun!

The ignorance of the women on the show was comical, but I am sure also portrays the real ignorance of many tourists who may visit in mid-April. Songkran is more than just a big water fight. It is the celebration of the Thai New Year. It is a time for renewal and cleansing. The real meaning behind all the water is to wash off all the misfortunes of the past year.

I say celebrate and have all the fun but also respect the people and honor the significance of the holiday. And it's ok if you don't know things. Just be open to learning! ☺️

National Espresso Martini Day 🍸☕️

Call me basic, but I'm 100% an espresso martini girly. I dare say I was vibing with this cocktail before it blew up and before every spot but some variation of one on their menu. The crazy thing is, I'm not a big coffee drinker but I love coffee flavored things. As much as I enjoy this cocktail, they are not all created equal. This is why I love making them at home so I can have it just the way I like and experiment if I want to.

I recently attended a really fun cocktail making class at @granaatl and we made a variation called After Dark. Instead of vodka, we used dark rum, an espresso liqueur, espresso, simple syrup (optional), and orange bitters. I opted for no simple syrup, and it was perfect for me.

Mudbug season is upon us 😋

Kicked off crawfish season on Fat Tuesday with @goodnessinaglassllc . We just needed a little taste to satisfy our craving. Thank goodness @thepoboyshop had plenty on hand so we were not disappointed when we showed up late to the festivities. A pound of mudbugs and a hurricane set me right. You better believe they'll be seeing more of me this season!

Water is calling me right now. There’s something about being near water that soothes the soul, quiets the mind, and reminds me to just *be*. The sound of the waves, the feel of the breeze, the sight of the endless horizon—it’s therapeutic. ✨️

Sometimes, all we need is a little salt air and sea spray to reset. 🌊

Our most recent @lucianbooksandwine date just happened to fall on the birthday of @therealchampagnepete . Popping 3 bottles is the norm for us but there was something extra special doing it to celebrate once of our faves! (P.S. We missed you @lowkeywinenerd )

Shout out to @jordanfromlucian and the rest of the staff for always making each visit so special. 💖 Also, I vote there always be a cabbage dish on the menu because the last 2 have been exceptional!
