Bottomless Brunch in ATL (July 2019)

Brunch is my favorite meal of the weekend. Is it breakfast? Is it lunch? Will it be savory, sweet or both? It is just hard to go wrong with brunch. It is a great way recover from the previous night’s drinking or kick off your Sunday Funday. The only thing that can make brunch even better than it already is? BOTTOMLESS drinks. Whether it’s mimosas, bloody marys, or sangria… the endless pouring of booze just makes brunching so much more fun!

Atlanta is not short of restaurants offering brunch. However, the ones with bottomless drinks are truly a gem. This is a list of a few (5 if you want to be exact) of my favorite bottomless brunch spots in the city (in no particular order).

Sprig

I hesitated to put this on the list because my friends and I like to think of it as our little secret. Sprig is located in Decatur and offers seasonal menus. Their brunch has breakfast/brunch dishes, sandwiches & burgers, small plates and salads. The menu is available

  • When: Saturday & Sunday from 11:30am – 3:00pm.
  • Bottomless Offering: Bottomless mimosas ($12)
  • Patio: Yes
  • Reservations: Yes

Bar Mercado

If you have visited Krog Street Market and have not been to Bar Mercado, I have to ask you, “Why?”. Their brunch menu has sweet & savory Spanish inspired dishes. Chicken and waffles is so outdated. Why not have chicken and churros? Yeah, you heard me right!

  • When: Saturday & Sunday from 11:00am – 3:00pm (food brunch menu only on Sunday)
  • Bottomless Offering: Bottomless mimosas & sangria ($15)
  • Patio: Yes
  • Reservations: Yes

Donetto

Donetto (located in West Midtown) has contemporary Italian fare. Their Cosa Nostra menu consists of colazione (breakfast), pasta, piatta (dishes) and dolci (dessert). I am all about breakfast dishes for brunch but this placehas a stand out pasta dish. Their spaghetti dish wish smoked bacon, egg yolk and parmesan is a must try dish (shout out to the Pasta Magician)!

  • When: Sunday from 11:00am – 2:30pm
  • Bottomless Offering: Bottomless bellinis ($10)
  • Patio: Yes
  • Reservations: Yes

Calle Latina

Decatur where it’s greater! I just had put Calle Latina on the list. They serve up Latin street food made my Latina chefs. Located in Decatur Square, this homey restaurant offers a small but mighty brunch menu (regular menu also available). My friend, Kwasi, would hate me if I did not mention they have a wonderful tres leches cake.

  • When: Sunday from 12:00pm – 4:00pm
  • Bottomless Offering: Bottomless bellinis ($10)
  • Patio: Yes but small with limited seating
  • Reservations: Yes

Varasono’s Pizzeria

Varasano’s Pizzeria is a delicious pizza joint in Buckhead that I bet you didn’t know serves brunch. They do offer some more traditional brunch menu items but when pizza for breakfast/brunch is an option, why would you say no?! You can have the best of both worlds with a breakfast pizza.

  • When: Saturday & Sunday from 11:30am – 4:00pm
  • Bottomless Offering: Bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, sangria and bellinis ($15)
  • Patio: Yes
  • Reservations: Yes

Again, these are just a few of my fave bottomless brunch spots. There are more on my list, but I am curious where you like to have a boozy brunch. Feel free to leave a comment down below.
