With so many protein options, it's hard to pick just one! 😅

@estrellitafilipino has a variety of protein options including 2 types of chicken, short ribs, lechon, spare ribs, salmon and pompano. You can always go with 1 protein and add on an extra protein ( this is my greedy pro tip. You're welcome 😂).

Not to mention they have pork adobo and pork sinigang which makes deciding what to eat even more challenging. I say bring a friend and order a few things to share. You really can't go wrong with whatever you choose.

Calling all seafood lovers! ✨️

@alicioysterbar just dropped a new menu, and it's worth checking out. They're still serving up fresh and tasty oysters, but the new menu is delivering some really great eats.

Here's what we had:
• Yellowfin Tuna Cannoli
• Deviled Eggs with Fried Oysters
• Baby Gem Salad with White Anchovies
• Squid Ink Campanelle with Lobster
• Maine Lobster Roll with Caviar add-on
• Strawberry Shortcake Bombe (not captured in the reel but delish)

Not a single dish disappointed, and I want to go back to try the other menu items like the Swordfish Schnitzel and Wagyu Beef Burger (it's not seafood, but I bet it's good!).

At the end of the month, they'll be open for weekday lunch so you'll have even more opportunity to fill your belly with seafood goodness!

Record Store Day in L5P 🎶

Started my Saturday by celebrating #RecordStoreDay at @moodsmusic in @l5patl . They had a lineup of djs that kept us grooving while we sifted through the crates of vinyl. I left with a couple of new records, a Sade shirt, and the cutest Whitney Houston Funko! Pop.

The man behind this L5P staple is opening up a record store in @southdowntownatl called @cratesatl and is throwing a bash next Saturday. If you're free, be sure to stop by and support!

Winemaker Dinner- An Evening with Michael Cruse 🍷

Last week I experienced a delicious and delightful wine dinner hosted by @toweratl at @ariaatlanta featuring @crusewineco . We were welcomed with "Tradition" bubbles and enjoyed a 5 course meal paired with 4 other wines from their portfolio.

I had the pleasure of being seated next to winemaker @crusewine and enjoyed learning more about his journey and the stories behind each wine. I thoroughly enjoyed all the wines but the 2021 Syrah 'Charles Heintz Vineyard' was my fave of the night (you'll be luckily if you're able to get your hands on a bottle 😅).

This is my second time attending a wine or spirit dinner hosted by Tower but I am sure it won't be my last. The food and beverage pairings are thoughtful and I enjoy connecting with other enthusiasts in a more intimate setting. Cheers to more dinners like this! 🥂

The perfect toro bite! 😋

If you ask me where you should go for sushi in ATL, @chiroriatlanta would be one of my top recommendations. The quality of their fish is great, they offer delicious non-sushi menu options (I always get the hamachi kama), and their pricing is really reasonable. Plus, they are consistently good. I've always had great food and service with each visit.

You can order a la carte but they do have dinner omakase available as well. I've dined both ways and always leave with a full belly and a smile on my face.

If you haven't, you should check them out. They're located on 14th Street right next to Toast and across from that car wash/bar/restaurant spot. 😄

This post is for all the folks whose theory is that the monkeys did it. 😅 There are no spoilers here for the people who haven't started this season yet. 😬

I got up close and personal with some monkeys in Thailand last April. Don't let their cuteness fool you. We were warned that they are theives and can get aggressive. Luckily, we had no issues on our visit. It was such a cool experience.

This season of the show had me reminiscing on my trip big time. Always grateful for my travel experiences, and this is a country I'd definitely revisit.

Phew! March was a month, wasnt it?! It felt like finally thawing out after a long winter of hibernation. It was a month of connections and experiences that warmed my soul.

Amidst the hustle, there was a sense of new beginnings, fresh energy, and a renewed gratitude for all that’s blooming around me. I feel momentum moving into the Spring season, and I can’t help but feel excited for the possibilities that lie ahead and the adventures waiting to unfold.

Here's to continued growth, protecting our peace, and creating moments of joy by living our lives to the fullest! 💖

Today is the grand opening of Cafe Momentum in downtown Atlanta, and I am so excited to have them in the city. I first visited @cafemomentum in Dallas several years ago and was immediately drawn to the work they were doing transforming the lives of justic-involved youth. Having worked with teenage girls in the juvenile detention centers for a few years, their mission was near and dear to my heart.

By visiting the restaurant, you are showing your support of the youth by demonstrating that the ATL community believes in them. All while enjoying tasty regional southern cuisine like smoked fried chicken, shrimp & grits, smoked pork belly, and brown butter poached sea bass. Donations are always welcome and help keep the program running and provide the youth with the resources, skills and education to help them on their path to a brighter future.

The restaurant is open Thursday theu Saturday and reservations are now available on @opentable

Ain't no party like a Sixteen 600 party 🥂

@acorkintheroad teamed up with @sixteen600 to host Tie Dye Before the High, a laidback and fun wine party to welcome the winery back to Atlanta before the annual High Museum fundraising auction.

There was no agenda other than to have a great time, and a great time was definitely had! We gathered at @thevineclubatl to drink wine from @grapeswithaview and crew, enjoy amazing food from @bovinoafterdark , vibe to ATL based music from @bird.atl , and mingle amongst great company. Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening!
